About the Role

The Revenue Operations Coordinator is an integral part of Latham’s Revenue Operations team. This role will be responsible for inventory management including coordinating the activities of the billing process, performing complex billing duties in efforts to meet monthly targets, and monitoring and tracking accounts receivable (A/R), while managing the complete billing and collections cycle for the inventory of a specified group of billing attorneys, ensuring compliance with the firm’s best practices for processes, tasks, and timelines. This role will be based in our Paris office. Please note that it is a 12-month fixed-term contract and may be eligible for a flexible working schedule, allowing for a hybrid presence.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Other key responsibilities include:

 

  • Serving as a liaison among attorneys, attorney support, the Global Finance team, and clients, ensuring timely responses to both internal and external inquiries
  • Preparing and analysing complex client billing by meticulously reviewing, approving, and posting client invoices; ensuring all billing activities comply with firm policies, client guidelines, and rate agreements, maintaining a high level of accuracy and precision
  • Generating and reviewing proformas from 3E, monitoring work-in-progress (WIP) fees and costs, flagging balances to billing attorneys, and addressing WIP balances according to billing attorney instructions, in line with the “Gold Standard”
  • Promoting best practice for matter maintenance to ensure the judicious conversion of WIP to cash, including the accurate opening and timely closure of matters, appropriate rate/discount and e-billing setups, proper bill frequency matter coding, prompt submission of time entries, and timely application of BOA balances
  • Timely delivery of invoices to clients/E-billing team; monitoring matters; coordinating on client platform and E-billing onboarding tasks

 

We’d love to hear from you if you:

 

  • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English, with the ability to interact effectively with people at all organisational levels of the firm
  • Demonstrate the ability to work in a team environment with a customer service focus
  • Possess thorough knowledge of procedures such as posting, balancing, debits, and credits

 

And have:

 

  • Experience in general accounting and billing processes within an international law firm, or an  international organisation in the professional services industry, preferably
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, preferably
