About the Role

The Attorney Support Intern - Finance Intern is an integral part of Latham’s Attorney Support team. This role will be responsible for supporting all basic activities associated with the day-to-day operations of the team, while providing administrative support relevant to the department and assisting with all tasks supporting the staff in the Finance department. This role will be located in our Munich office. Please note that this role requires an in-office presence.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Other key responsibilities include: 

 

  • Receiving assignments from attorneys and performing tasks as requested
  • Editing and formatting transaction related documents (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Entering and closing timesheets per policies
  • Assisting with Business Development related administrative tasks
  • Travel and calendar management

We'd love to hear from you if you:

 

  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English
  • Have recently successfully completed your training or have already gained some professional experience as an assistant
  • Demonstrate the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with appropriate discretion

 

And have:

 

  • The organizational skills needed to manage time well, prioritize effectively, and handle multiple deadlines
  • Well developed and professional interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact and communicate effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm
  • Knowledge and proficiency in PC applications, including MS Office
