About the Role

The Senior Billing Coordinator presents a unique opportunity to be an integral part of Latham’s Global Finance team. This exciting role will be responsible for managing the firm’s billing and revenue function and assisting the firm to achieve its financial targets across our four German offices. Delivering an efficient and commercially focused service, they will provide innovative solutions to improve the management, engagement, and performance within the Revenue Lifecycle. This role will be located in our Frankfurt office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Other key responsibilities include:

 

  • Managing the revenue cycle of a specified group of Partners and fee earners within the firm
  • Holding frequent meetings with Partners, fee earners and Attorney Support Specialists to discuss Work In Progress (WIP) & Accounts Receivable (AR) in order to determine most appropriate course of action
  • Ensuring compliance of all processes and systems in the Revenue Lifecycle against the relevant internal and external regulation and legislation
  • Generating and reviewing draft invoices from Elite 3E
  • Providing ad hoc reporting analyses
  • Assisting with year-end closing and reporting as required

 

We’d love to hear from you if you:

  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English
  • Excel at building relationships
  • Demonstrates a high level of attention to detail

 

And have:

 

  • Previous experience of working in a legal or professional services environment including exposure to billing, VAT and disbursements
  • Experience in using MS applications including Excel
