About the Role

The Front Office Host H/F is an integral part of Latham’s Workplace Experience team. This role will be responsible for setting the stage for a positive and productive stay and utilizing a customer interaction system to provide high-quality, knowledgeable and consultative customer service and administrative support. This role will be located in our Paris office, and the presence of at least one team member at the reception desk is required between 7:45 AM to 19:30 PM (flexible shifts), from Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Other key responsibilities include:

 

  • Offering a genuine welcome to all visitors and personnel and escorting internal and external clients to their destination
  • Anticipating client needs through meticulous preparation and organization
  • Maintaining Guest Services and other relevant inbox communication and ensuring one-stop resolution service to clients
  • Assisting with various ad hoc tasks including, but not limited to: phone reception, booking and setup of conference rooms, answering to taxi or food requests, catering setups for breakfasts and lunches, assisting during major events, and other administrative tasks
  • Ensuring that workstations, offices, and collaboration spaces are presentable, equipped, configured to customer specifications and ready for use

 

We’d love to hear from you if you:

 

  • Are passionate about providing a high standard of customer service
  • Exhibit well developed and professional interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm
  • Display IT fluency, including proficiency in MS Office

 

And have:

 

  • Experience working in a role that demands first-class customer service, preferably within the hospitality sector
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French
  • The ability to manage time well, prioritize effectively, handle multiple deadlines, and confidential and sensitive information with the appropriate discretion
